About inkfrontnu

A training studio built by newsroom people.

inkfrontnu began as a single writing workshop and grew into a full media training studio covering story drafting, presentation planning and camera framing for people who want to work in a real newsroom.

Our mission

Make newsroom-ready skills accessible to everyone.

We believe good journalism training should not require you to already know someone in the industry. Course A takes trainees with no prior newsroom experience and gives them a structured, mentored path to writing, presenting and filming work a real desk would publish.

Every cohort is small enough that instructors know each trainee's work in detail, and every assignment is reviewed the way it would be inside a working newsroom — with notes, a second read, and a deadline.

What we value

The principles behind every course.

Writing that holds up

Every module is graded against real editorial standards, not classroom ones.

Presenting with confidence

Small studio groups mean every trainee gets real time in front of a camera.

Craft behind the lens

Framing, lighting and set-up are taught as seriously as scripting.

Editorial integrity

Accuracy, fairness and sourcing are built into every assignment, not bolted on at the end.
